Ivysaur is a Grass/Poison-type Pokémon. Ivysaur will evolve from Bulbasaur at Level 16. Ivysaur evolve into Venusaur starting at Level 32. Its English name is made from the words Ivy, and Dinosaur, thus the name Ivysaur.
Ivysaur is a favourite for taking on the weaker Team Aqua trainers, especially after is has learnt Vine Whip which gives it a huge advantage over their predominately water pokemon. If you have aquired this pokemon than earning the Boulder and Cascade badges should be relatively easy. An important thing to remember for Ivysaur is that is the opponent knows any Fire, Flying or Psychic attacks than Ivysaur likely won't last agianst them and you should switch out.
